Honeywell Process Systems (HPS) will be holding a systems automation workshop in Brisbane on 17 March 2010, focussing on programmable logic controllers (PLC), remote terminal units (RTU) and other process control and automation technologies.
The workshop will take place at Honeywell’s head office at 19 Corporate Drive, Cannon Hill, Queensland.
The workshop is free to attend and is open to Honeywell clients and industry professionals.
The interactive workshop will focus on PLCs, RTU, small and flexible Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), wireless technology, security and safety solutions, field instrumentation, Honeywell’s asset management solution – Field Device Manager — and some other ideas for inventory management and tank measurement.
The hands-on, interactive workshops will demonstrate the ease of implementing PLCs, RTUs and controllers (C200 and HC900) while connected to an Experion system, Honeywell says.
Participants will also get the chance to view the latest control solutions technology and have one-on-one interactions with Honeywell product experts.
