GR Engineering has won the contract to design and build Sirius Resources’ Nova nickel mineral processing plant.
GR will also design and construct the paste fill plant facilities at the site, located in the Fraser Range in WA.
Geoff Jones, GR Engineering’s managing director, welcomed the win.
“In a short time Sirius has advanced the Nova nickel project from discovery to development, a testament to the quality of the project and the management team involved; we look forward to working with Sirius and playing an important role in the development of the project,” Jones said.
Detailed design of the minerals processing facility is scheduled for the second quarter of this year, with construction slated in the fourth quarter of 2015.
No value was given for the contract tender.
