Free MATLAB engineering seminars throughout Australia

The MathWorks will be holding free MATLAB seminars throughout Australia from 24th February until 5th March. The seminars will be delivered by MathWorks engineers and will include technical presentations and demos.

Engineers, scientists and data analysts use MATLAB to accelerate research and reduce analysis and development time, says MathWorks. The seminars will cover how to use MathWorks tools to help design, implement and verify algorithms, and speed up the C or C++ development process by using the algorithm development and application deployment features of MATLAB.

“Engineers involved in research, data analysis, and product development should attend these seminars,” explained said MathWorks Australia managing director, Andrew Clay.

“Being aware of and knowing how to use these tools will enable the users to reduce development time and increase productivity.”

The seminars will also discuss how to use MATLAB to augment existing C or C++ algorithms by:

•Integrating MATLAB and C/C++;

•Creating re-usable MATLAB software modules for C/C++;

•Verifying code; and

•Developing and deploying a complete application with MATLAB.

Seminars will be held on the following dates:

Sydney Tuesday, 24 February 2009

Canberra Wednesday, 25 February 2009

Brisbane Thursday, 26 February 2009

Melbourne Tuesday, 3 March 2009
