Fire protection falls from the sky

Tyco Fire Protection Services — Asia Pacific, president, Richard Kelleway, showed-off his dare-devil nature On 9th October 2008 when he publicly-abseiled off the 43rd floor of Sydney’s Suncorp Place on George Street to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

As part of Kelleway’s annual management meeting for Tyco — which incorporates well-known Australian brand, Wormald — members of his Asia Pacific management team visited the Starlight Express Room at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Parkville, Victoria, and participated in a fundraising event for the Foundation.

Recently-appointed Kelleway has taken part in a number of events over the years to raise money for the Foundation, including completing the 2007 and 2008 Chain Reaction cycle rides, personally raising more than $25,000 for Starlight.

Starlight aims to brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families through the delivery of innovative programs, which provide positive distraction to restore the fun, laughter and joy that serious illness takes away.
