Allen Tighe has taken on the Chair role for the Foundation Fieldbus End-User Council Australia, as Jim Russell steps down after nine years and accepts the secretary portfolio.
Allen Tighe will be visiting his Foundation Fieldbus colleagues Singapore at the end of the month to discuss training, marketing and event synergies with the associated groups. FFEUC-Aus is currently reviewing its training options.
The Council’s Technical Meetings will be arranged on an adhoc basis and will be scheduled when suitable speakers and technical subjects are identified during the year.
Planning for their annual Jump Aboard conference for 2009 will commence in June, and will be based around the release of FF Safety Instrumented Systems Instrumentation, Wireless and Projects “Lessons Learnt”.
