From tomomrrow, NHP Electrical Engineering Products and Inaco Automation Controls will become the only two authorised dealers of Rockwell Automation products and services in Australia and New Zealand.
Rockwell Automation’s new distribution model was announced by the company in November last year, effective 1st July 2009.
While Inaco was already a Rockwell Automation distributor, NHP was signed-on in a new deal to distribute Rockwell Automation’s Allen-Bradley products, Rockwell software and the Guardmaster range of products and services in certain areas from 1st July 2009.
NHP already distributes a range of industrial and automation products including the Sprecher + Schuh and Terasaki ranges. The company says Rockwell Automation’s products will complement its incumbent portfolio.
“Our customer support network has been extended and is now in place to service the needs of our customers. With 21 branches, 28 regional locations and 800+ staff, NHP has never been better placed to meet the demands of the industrial and automation market,” the company said in a press release.
“We have Allen-Bradley stock currently on our shelves ready to sell and have recruited the ‘frontline’ customer facing, specialist staff so as to provide you with the industry leading product and technical customer support network that the industry has come to expect from NHP.
“We now have over 60 Technical Automation experts and growing, dedicated to selling and supporting Allen-Bradley products around our designated areas of Australia and all of New Zealand, with many of these automation experts having, on average, over 15 years experience in the Industrial automation field.”
Rockwell Automation announced in November last year that it was changing its distribution model to become more exclusive. The automation supplier broke its ties with various Australia and New Zealand-based distributors, keeping only Inaco and signing on NHP.
