Entries open for Australian exporters in 47th annual awards

Nominations for small and large companies exporting from Australia are now open for the finalist round of the 47th Australian Export Awards, recognising exporting success across various industries.

Applications are closing soon for each of the State and Territory Export Award programs, which recognise both emerging and established Australian exporters. The Victorian and Western Australia entries have already closed, however.

Entering and winning an award brings many advantages, according to the awards organisers. These include: distinguishing the company as a market leader, boosting its reputation; award winner receive significant media exposure that increases brand awareness and generates marketing opportunities; and award winners gain exposure to influential and valuable networks, which can open up new business opportunities, the award organisers say.

Winners from each of these Awards automatically progress to the national program — the 47th Australian Export Awards.

Winning an Australian Export Award brings a new level of recognition to a company, widening its exposure to new markets overseas.

One of the 12 Award winners is selected to be the overall winner, the Prime Minister’s Australian Exporter of the Year.
