Engineers Australia asset management training seminar

The Asset Management Council (AM Council) — a Technical Society of Engineers Australia — will be hosting its Sydney Training Intensive titled ‘Risk and Reliability for Good Asset Management’ on Monday 9 November in Victoria.

The one-day event provides an introduction to a range of approaches and methods for risk and reliability assessment and uses case studies from a range of industries to illustrate how businesses can enhance decision-making by the correct use of risk and reliability techniques.

Delivering the course are three asset management experts: Jim Kennedy (CPEng), the immediate past chair of the AM Council; Peter Kohler, director of international relations at AM Coucil; and Gary Winsor, employed full time as operations manager with EnergyAustralia.

Local and international case studies are part of the ‘Risk and Reliability for Good Asset Management’ course and include engine room fire, tender specification for electrical protection equipment, risk and fleet reliability and human resource case studies.

To register for the event, contact Falguni Patel, operations coordinator, at info@amcouncil.com.au, or phone (03) 9830 4899.
