Engineering consultancy Frazer-Nash takes on first Australian recruit

Systems and engineering technology consultancy Frazer-Nash has announced a new appointment to bolster its team in Adelaide.

Lauren Cameo, from Semaphore (SA), is Frazer-Nash’s first Australian recruit. She joins the consultancy as a Senior Engineer from BAE Systems Australia where she gained over seven years’ experience as a Systems Engineer and Test and Evaluation lead, with a particular expertise in the aerospace environment.

An experienced manager, Cameo has led the management and execution of verification and validation of projects and overseen subcontractors and customer liaison. Throughout her career she has also provided systems engineering support as an Authorised Engineering Organisation Design Engineer, including the review and approval of specifications and requirements management.

Lauren will assist Systems Engineering Lead, Ian Watson, to grow the team providing systems engineering support to clients in the defence, rail, resources and renewable energy sectors.

Commenting on the development, Ian Watson, said; “I’m very pleased to be able to welcome Lauren to our Adelaide office. Her skill and knowledge of the aerospace sector in Australia is going to be invaluable to the department and will complement our plans for the future. She is going to be a huge asset to the team as we look to develop our offering further.”
