Endress+Hauser is inviting Australia’s instrument technicians, electrical and process engineers, consultants, contractors and project engineers to join a Process Instrumentation Training Tour to Europe.
This 12-day trip will coincide with Interkama ’11 – the world’s largest process automation exhibition which is co-hosted with the Hannover Fair. The tour will also include training courses by Endress+Hauser specialists at Maulburg in Germany’s Black Forest region and Endress+Hauser Flowtec in Switzerland and France, as well as a day at the University of Basel Nanoscience department.
Australian participants from the previous training tour in 2008 were extremely pleased with their visit. “The tour is very well organised. It offers an opportunity to learn much more about the design and manufacturing of instrumentation”, said Robert Jol of Sedgman.
Kevin Chalk of Norske Skog commented, “All aspects of the Tour were extremely well planned. A great mix of training and learning of the local cultures. Highly recommend people consider the taking the tour.” “I had a great time at Interkama and sightseeing”, said Ian Boardman, “It was good to visit the factories to see and hear about instrumentation.
The training tour finds a balance between Interkama, sightseeing, traditional banquets, and measuring technologies.
The tour departs Sydney on Friday 1 April 2011 and returns Friday 15 April 2011. Email an expression of interest to Interkama2011@au.endress.com
