Downer has won a contract for work on Technicas Reunidas S.A.’s technical ammonium nitrate (TAN) plant on the Burrup Peninsula, in WA.
The contract, valued at around $70 million, will see Downer provide the structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical and instrumentation installation at the site.
It will begin work immediately at the TAN Burrup site, and is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of next year.
The works contract was previously held by the Forge Group, which has since collapsed.
