Decmil has won the non-process infrastructure at Rio Tinto’s Cape Lambert Port B.
The $26 million contract will see Decmil design, supply, install, and commission in the infrastructure at the port.
This latest contract comes on the back of a $35 million contract to support Rio Tinto’s expansion at its West Angelas Deposit B project.
Decmil’s new contract includes the work on Cape Lambert’s supply hub, the production administration building, and the engineering services building ablution block which includes the waste water treatment and treated water disposal system.
Commenting on this latest award Decmil MD Scott Criddle said “the work at Cape Lambert is another great win for Decmil as it further demonstrates our leading position in delivering NPI for remote natural resources projects”.
“As mine production ramps up and our clients focus on the operational cycle of their projects, we are in a strong position to provide the non process infrastructure required to support this growth.”
