Dates announced for SEW-Eurodrive DriveAcademy training

The dates have been released for SEW-Eurodrive’s new DriveAcademy training program, which is a comprehensive technical syllabus based on the same program that educates SEW-Eurodrive’s own engineers.

SEW-Eurodrive’s DriveAcademy is designed to provide end-users and system integrators with a comprehensive set of skills required to get the most out of motor and drive technologies and applications, the company says.

The seminars will focus on the application of SEW-Eurodrive’s technology, from both an in-depth engineering and maintenance perspective.

The DriveAcademy training program will cover a range of topics from project planning for non-controlled and controlled drives and VSDs, to product-specified classes for the MOVIDRIVE ‘B’ application inverter, MOVI-PLC PLC/motion controller and the MOVITRAC frequency inverter families, and decentralised drives.

All DriveAcademy seminars will be run by technical site-experienced staff, and conducted at SEW-Eurodrive’s Service Competence Centres located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

SEW’s DriveAcademy training program has been specifically designed to offer attendees both theoretical and practical training, the company says.
