Dassault Systèmes partners with Australia-based Firstservis

Dassault Systèmes has partnered with Australia-based IT consultancy, Firstservis. Under the agreement, Firstservis will sell, implement and provide support for EXALEAD applications in Australia and New Zealand.

Firstservis was established in 2007 by an international group of entrepreneurs and provides high end IT consultancy to some of the largest companies in Australia and Asia. The company has built its success by delivering search technology to aggregate enterprise and web content and transform unstructured data so it can be used by business processes and analysed for business improvement.

“Our partnership with Dassault Systèmes was heavily influenced by an exhaustive market evaluation that was undertaken by one of our key clients, a major Australian online media brand. Their decision to re-platform their business on EXALEAD applications was then validated by Gartner’s 2013 Magic Quadrant Report where the brand was named as the most visionary of Enterprise Search vendors” says Andrew Young, Sales Director – Enterprise Search, Firstservis.

Firstservis customers can now build on top of unstructured and structured content with the help of EXALEAD applications; which includes EXALEAD OneCall an application for Call Centre Optimisation.

Powered by Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform, EXALEAD applications are leading the Search-Based Application (SBA) revolution, bringing new structure, meaning and accessibility to data across the heterogeneous enterprise information cloud.

It does so with a low total cost of ownership and a technological leadership around relevancy, semantic and usability. EXALEAD-based SBA’s combine the sophisticated search, access and reporting typically associated with databases with the speed, scalability and simplicity of the Web.

Christian Ebel, Director of Sales ANZ, Value Solutions, Dassault Systèmes, said, “With EXALEAD applications, Dassault Systèmes is offering a game changing technology for organisations looking to leverage the value of Big Data.”

Regardless the data type or location – internal (e.g. Customer Relationship Management or Enterprise Resource Planning systems) or external (e.g. websites or social networks), structured or unstructured – EXALEAD applications aggregate, streamline, and deliver rich information “in context” to knowledge workers and managers.

This provides the opportunity for companies to make the correct decisions, find the right information, manage knowledge, boost online sales or deliver unique user experiences.

“Unstructured content represents as much as 80 percent of an organisation’s total information assets and the potential for insight and intelligence expands dramatically when enterprise information is augmented with public and social information from the internet," says Young.

"Search-based applications have always been the best technology for collecting and transforming textual content and we believe EXALEAD applications to be the most capable standalone search platform available on the market today. We look forward to working with Dassault Systèmes and our clients to unlock the hidden value within their content and data.”
