Phoenix Contact announces that five signal conditioners from its Mini Analog product range are now listed according to ANSI ISA 12.12.01 for the USA and Canada, allowing their use worldwide in potentially explosive areas of Class I, Division 2.
The UL-listed Mini Analog compact signal conditioners include two highly-functional temperature transducers for resistance thermometers and thermocouples, a frequency transducer, a power terminal block, and a fault signalling module for group error.
The two new temperature transducers for resistance thermometers and thermocouples ensure that the sensors conform to international standards. The frequency transducer converts speed pulses from under 1 Hz up to 80 kHz into an analogue signal, and can be operated with Namur sensors or with NPN/PNP outputs.
The fault signalling module offers clear error evaluation in multi-channel applications with up to 80 modules, while the addition of the new power terminal block enables detection of the failure of a supply voltage.
The highly-compact Mini Analog signal conditioners isolate, convert, filter, and amplify analogue signals with a design width of just 6.2mm.
