China’s WinSun Decoration Design Engineering Co has created a villa
and a five-storey residential house with a giant 3D printer, according to
reports.
www.3ders.org reports that WinSun used a 6.6 metre x 10 metre x 150 metre printer that used recycled building materials as a feedstock.
“This is the world’s first continuous printing 3D printer,
and the largest 3D house printer in the world,” Ma Yi He, WinSun’s CEO,
said, according to 3ders.
WinSun holds 98 Chinese patents for construction materials,
and first developed a nozzle for 3D printing buildings in 2004/2005.

(which reports that the house is five storeys tall), the recycled material includes sand, concrete and fibreglass and is flexible and resistant to earthquakes.
WinSun made international headlines last year, when it 3D printed 10 houses in 24 hours in April.
