Ray Chappelow has joined Scale Components as Product Manager for Measurement Information Systems.
According to Ian Fleming, Managing Director of Scale Components, Mr. Chappelow will be responsible for developing custom applications, in-motion weighing systems and cubing and measurement systems.
“Ray Chappelow is well-known to many in the industry, having played significant roles for the last thirty years.” Mr Fleming said.
“Ray’s career in weighing and process control started in 1975 with Avery Australia, where he specialised in variable weight pre-pack labelling systems used by the majority of the major food retailers. This led him in to labelling and variable image printing industry, where he has held senior management positions with Esselte Meto, Insignia and Dy-Mark. Ray is a full Member of the Australian Institute of Packaging.”
During Ray’s thirty-plus years in the industry, he has been responsible for the design and roll out of weighing, labelling and variable image printing solutions for many of Australia’s major food, beverage and manufacturing companies.
