Scitech has introduced the PCO Dimax CS high speed camera series specifically designed for harsh and demanding applications such as the automotive crash testing sector.
The cameras are compact, lightweight (less than one kilogram) and ruggedised, allowing them to be mounted in a multitude of positions. With high frame rates at a resolution of up to four Megapixels, they provide high light sensitivity, image quality and colour rendering. Multiple lens mounts (including electronic lens control), HD-SDI video output and the automatic image calibration feature make the cameras versatile and powerful tools, according to the company.
Key features include a 12-bit dynamic range, 9GB internal camera memory, high-G ruggedised body (150G for 11ms), secure trigger and sync modes, light sensitivity and quick-change lens adapter. Three models are available with various resolutions.
