Nominations for the seventh annual Zenith Awards ceremony are now open, with an exciting new category, Security & Defence, set to make the 2010 awards program the biggest yet.
The annual Zenith Awards was established by PACE magazine in 2004 to reward companies that show leadership in engineering and technological excellence and innovation across ten industries. The awards program gives recognition to entire projects in these industries and offers an opportunity for everyone — including engineers, suppliers, integrators and industrial business-owners — to be recognised publicly.
Two hundred engineers and company leaders gathered at Doltone House in Sydney in June for the 2009 Zenith Awards to cheer on their workmates and congratulate their peers when 24 projects won awards across nine industry sectors. The new Security & Defence category will make up the tenth industry area represented at the 2010 program.
Entries for the Zenith Awards open in November each year in preparation for an official awards ceremony in June the following year. This year, the official nomination kit can be downloaded from the PACE website below or by emailing the editor, Sarah Falson at sarah.falson@reedbusiness.com.au
The official categories for the seventh annual Zenith Awards are: Automotive & Manufacturing; Chemicals & Petrochemicals; Food & Beverage; Oil, Gas & Hydrocarbons; Metal Products Manufacturing; Mining, Minerals & Exploration; Power & Energy Management; Security & Defence (new!); Transport, Power & Infrastructure; and Water & Wastewater.
Entering the Zenith Awards is free and is the only awards program specific to process, control and automation in Australia. Entering the awards is a great way to boost your staff’s morale by celebrating their work and exposing it to a large audience for public recognition. Entering a project also means that potential clients will know about you and your success.
