Phoenix Contact has added new cable glands to its range of cable routing products suitable for both regular industrial as well as hazardous environments.
Made from nickel-plated brass or plastic, the new cable glands from Phoenix Contact are also available in EMC versions with various thread dimensions. Providing a high level of IP68 and IP69K protection from environmental factors, the new screw connections can be used in a wide range of industrial applications in harsh environments.
Extending product groups such as the robust Heavycon connectors and the CES cable entry system, the new cable glands range also includes screw connections and accessory parts made from nickel-plated brass and stainless steel for hazardous areas.
Certified Ex e, Ex d and Ex nR, the cable glands can be used in connection with non-reinforced cables and armoured cables, achieving IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection. Several international approvals enable the screw connections to be used in applications across oil and gas, petrochemical industry, shipping, and offshore environments.
