The Profibus Association of Australia (PAA) will be holding a Profibus Technology Forum in Brisbane on 16 September 2009, featuring a number of industry experts sharing their views on Profibus’s recent developments.
The Profibus Technology Forum will be held at The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre South Bank.
PAA has brought together a number of prominent industry experts who will share their views on Profibus’ recent developments, describe local applications of the technology, and discuss the latest products and solutions.
The Forum will be combined with a Technology Exhibition where PAA members will showcase their products and solutions in an interactive environment, demonstrating the power of Profibus at all levels of the plant, PAA says.
The no-charge event is targeted at Design Engineers, Process Engineers, Electrical engineers, Instrument technicians, electricians, plant operators, and any professional that intends to implement Profibus in the near future.
The United Group Infrastructure will present their experiences gained while implementing Profibus at the Pimpama Water Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Wang Components will share with Forum participants the way their company implemented a plant automation solution using Profibus.
Tyco Flow Control has been accredited as the first Profibus International Competence Centre in Australia and will discuss the importance of troubleshooting, maintenance and the abilities of the analysis tool, ProfiTrace.
Siemens will offer some insights into ProfiSafe and detail the safety communications required to protect operators and plants.
Endress+Hauser will take attendees through a typical Profibus PA engineering and installation process.
