Altra Industrial Motion, Inc. has released a new range of stainless steel mounted bearings and shaft couplings from Boston Gear for industrial washdown applications.
Manufactured by Boston Gear, Charlotte, NC, the new line of stainless steel mounted bearings and shaft couplings delivers superior performance in high pressure washdown applications in food processing and packaging environments.
The product line includes pillow block and flanged mounted bearings featuring cast stainless steel housings, synthetic lip seals and NSF H1 food grade grease.
The SSFC Series insert (3-jaw) type shaft couplings from Boston Gear feature a 316 stainless steel construction with passivated finish, and are offered with a choice of oil-impregnated Bost-Bronz, oil-resistant synthetic rubber or polyurethane inserts. Requiring no lubrication, these couplings are available with precision machined bores or solid hubs. Custom bore sizes are also available.
