Yokogawa will be holding its biannual Australasian User Group Conference on 10-11 May 2010 at the Perth Exhibition Convention Centre, representing the first time the event has been held in Western Australia.
The Yokogawa User Conference will be held in Western Australia to coincide with the resources boom in that state, especially in the oil and gas and LNG fields, the company says.
Attendance at the Conference will leverage Yokogawa’s recent successes with Chevron’s Gorgon LNG project and Inpex’s Ichthys LNG project, as well as other project work completed in Western Australia, according to the company.
The Conference will provide an opportunity for networking between users, and learning about technologies that will be applicable in each delegate’s own plant. Many sessions feature parallel conference streams so users can select sessions that suit their particular needs and interests.
Demonstration workshops will include close-up and in-depth looks at Fieldbus diagnostics, advanced graphics tools, alarm analysis techniques, advanced operational applications, instrument configuration tools, and instrument selection fundamentals. Yokogawa’s new wireless transmitter products will also be featured prominently.
Yokogawa users from all over Australia and New Zealand, Yokogawa business partners and other interested parties will be attending and will contribute to the success of the event, Yokogawa says.
