Citect celebrated 35 years in the automation business last month with 20 parties in 20 different locations around the world.
Citect’s CEO, Christopher Crowe, addressed the Sydney office personally and the other Australian offices via video link at the Sydney part.
Crowe highlighted some of the milestones Citect has achieved in its 35 years including the introduction of CitectSCADA in 1987, the signing of the first distributor in 1992 and listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1997. Click the following link to download a high resolution image:
“Citect has grown exponentially since its inception in 1973, expanding into US, European and Asian markets along the way. In 2006 Schneider Electric acquired Citect,” said a spokesperson for Citect.
At the Sydney event, Crowe made special mention of Citect’s longest serving Australian employee, Jenny Spake, sales administrator, sales operations group.
All of Citect’s newest employees were also given a special mention including Julieri De Florio, national marketing coordinator, who started with the company just three days before the anniversary.
Before cutting the cake and a hearty rendition of Happy Birthday, the company enjoyed the first screening of the new corporate video.
