Anglomoil is an Australian owned and operated lubrication manufacturer based in Mt Kuring-gai, New South Wales that was set up in 1975.
NSF's ISO 21469 is a specific ANSI-accredited certification for lubricants used in the food industry and, in particular, those which may come into contact with food products (H1).
These lubricants are typically used in pumps, mixers, compressors, hydraulics, chain drives and conveyor systems. The NSF endorsement is recognised by the World Health Organisation.
The NSF certification applies to Anglomoil's SFG Gear Oils; Compressor Oils; SFG Hydraulic Oils; WO Hook Oil; Airline Oil; WO Chain Oil; White Oils; Food Machinery Grease and Food Machinery Grease HD.
This range of lubricants is acceptable for use in meat, poultry and other food processing sectors of the industry.
"We have been assessed by NSF throughout the formulation, manufacturing, handling and use of our products and this ISO 21469 certification guarantees to the end user that they only contain safe ingredients and in the rare occurrence of a lubricant coming into contact with a food product there is no harm to the end user," says Anglomoil Managing Director Michael Croasdale.
The range had already been certified by the Food Safety Authority of New Zealand, National Sanitation Foundation of America and Halal and is also approved under the Kosher guidelines.
In an industry dominated by global brands Anglomoil is considered an Australian success story. From simple beginnings, the privately owned enterprise built an advanced production plant in Sydney in the Eighties.
Today their products are used across Australia as well as in New Zealand and Asia. Anglomoil positions itself in the market as a manufacturer of high quality products.
Founded in the US in 1944, NSF International is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides standards development, product certification, auditing, education and risk management for public health and the environment.
