Austech 2008 sold out

Austech has already sold all exhibitor stands for the next edition of the manufacturing technology and machine tool exhibition show, to be held during National Manufacturing Week in May 2008.

Organised by AMTIL (The Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Ltd) Austech has grown steadily from its first show in 2000. “There has been a substantial 25% growth over the last four Sydney exhibitions” says Ms. Kim Warren, Exhibition Manager, AMTIL.

Many companies have taken larger stands and 73 exhibitors have booked out over 4,000 square metres of stand space, the highest yet. “The sell-out was reached in October 2007 and this great result is a sign of confidence in the industry and that Australian manufacturing technology is on the upswing” says Shane Infanti, CEO, AMTIL.

Austech is generally regarded as a “must see” event by anyone interested in the use of machine tools and accessories, laser technology, cutting tools, programming systems and specialised ancillary equipment. It is a showcase for exhibitors who are the best in their fields of expertise and it provides visitors with the opportunity to inspect the very latest technology and innovations from all around the world.

Typical comments from exhibitors at Austech 2007 were:

“Visitors to our stand at Austech showed a high level of interest in the technology we were displaying.”

“We received the largest ever list of qualified leads.”

Austech runs under the banner of National Manufacturing Week which combines several exhibitions under the one roof. The 2008 show is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet, and will take place at the Sydney Exhibition & Convention Centre, Darling Harbour, NSW, from 27th to 30th May, 2008.
