Ausplas, Australia’s national trade exhibition for the plastics industry and the longest-running plastics industry event in the southern hemisphere, will be incorporated into National Manufacturing Week (NMW).
NMW is organised by Reed Exhibitions which recently acquired Ausplas from Exhibition Management.
While NMW is an annual event, rotating between Sydney and Melbourne, Ausplas is staged every three years.
The next edition of Ausplas will be held alongside NMW from 13-16 May 2014 at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. It will be the first time that Ausplas has been staged in Sydney in 24 years – since 1990, the largest ever stand-alone edition of Ausplas.
The inclusion of Ausplas every third year will strengthen NMW’s position as Australia’s largest integrated manufacturing industry event, a key component of which is the existing co-location with AMTIL’s Austech, Australia’s advanced precision manufacturing and machine tool exhibition.
