Bürkert Australia has announced the appointment of Mr Cuong Vo as their new general manager, effective March 1, 2023.
Vo has worked in and around process control and automation industries for almost 20 years, with his recent position as head of sales for Swisslog and prior to this with Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric.
His experience includes sales, operational excellence and digital marketing. He has led medium size organisations through business change to improve customer experience, sustainable sales growth and high employee engagement.
“I am passionate about Industrial Automation and have been fortunate to work for a number of companies that have provided innovative solutions to meet diverse industry segments,” said Vo.
“Over the years, I have learnt that success comes from working together with our customers and taking them through the automation journey by understanding the problems they’re looking to solve with competence and commitment.
“I believe there are current opportunities to help our customers improve their efficiencies and gains as they’re realising the benefits of digitalisation.

With Vo’s career spanning across both the United Kingdom and Australia, his knowledge and experience of partnering with customers for stronger relationships, whilst looking for opportunities to improve Burkert’s presence will be a great asset to the Australian and SEAPAC teams in building our future successes.
