The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech has received Control Engineering China’s Best Product of the Year award in the Communication Device category for its EKI-1352 2-port serial to 802.11b/g WLAN Serial Device Server.
The EKI-1352 was chosen for offering a quick, simple, and cost-effective way to bring the advantages of remote management and data access to thousands of serial devices in remote monitoring environments such as security systems, factory automation, SCADA, transportation and more, says Advantech.
The EKI-1352 is designed to provide end-users with an easy way to add 802.11b/g wireless capabilities to RS-232/422/485 devices and equipment, facilitating real-time access to information.
